Course booking terms and conditions and cancellation policy

Transferring a course date

We understand that situations can arise that are out of students control and as such Mac Hair & Beauty Training Academy will provide a free course transfer on an alternative date if available if received no later than 10 working days prior to the course start date.

Booking

Bookings should be made on-line. Full payment will be taken to secure your place on the course. A confirmation email will be sent once the booking has been processed by our admin team. All Mac Hair & Beauty Training Academy course prices listed on the website include the full cost of the course including course materials and refreshments.

Course cancellation

If you wish to cancel a course then Mac Hair & Beauty Training Academy must be notified 14 WORKING days prior to the start date of the course by email only to hello@machairtrainingacademy.co.uk for which a £50 administration will be payable. Students will receive a free course transfer if 14 working days or more notice is provided.

If you do not attend a course date and give no prior notice to the academy, then the course fee is still fully payable in full and no course transfer is allowed. Mac Hair & Beauty Training Academy reserves the right to alter teachers & venues without prior notice. In the event of a Mac Hair & Beauty Training Academy course cancellation, a full refund of the course fee will be made but no compensation for any additional costs incurred.

Special requirements

If you have any special requirements Mac Hair & Beauty Training Academy will try to accommodate for you as long as we have been notified in advance by email only to hello@machairtrainingacademy.co.uk.

Course instructions

Course instructions are sent out to students within 6 working hours of making the booking and venue details are sent 7 to 14 days before the course date. If you have not received any course instructions before the course date, then please contact Mac Hair & Beauty Training Academy via email to hello@machairtrainingacademy.co.uk

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE ACCURATE CONTACT INFORMATION WHEN MAKING THE BOOKING, YOU SHOULD ALSO CHECK YOUR JUNK EMAIL BOX.

MAC HAIR & BEAUTY TRAINING ACADEMY WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR STUDENTS NOT RECEIVING EMAILED INSTRUCTIONS AND REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED IN SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES.

IT IS THE STUDENTS DUTY TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE RECEIVED ALL COURSE INFORMATION.

Venues

The specific venue details are sent out in the course instructions. If you do not receive this 7 day before your course, please contact us.

Dress code

The course has no dress code, but it is advised to wear comfortable clothing as most of our courses are practical.

Support

After you complete your course all students have free support with us. Details are given to you during your course day.

Insurance & liability

During the training sessions we will give you information and recommendations on insurance companies that specialise within the hair extension industry, however this contract will be between you and the insurance provider directly.

Mac Hair & Beauty Training Academy does not accept any responsibility for students who fail to obtain public liability insurance. We do not accept any injury or accident to clients resulting from students following instructions they learn on courses. 

Retraining

Should your teacher feel you need further training to secure your certification we will offer a FREE training course in the future provided it is booked within 7 days of the initial course.

If you don’t let us know within 7 days of your course, you can attend a refresher at a discounted rate of £149. Please note that this will not include the hair extension training kit.
